Bayern Munchen’s English striker Harry Kane surprised again the German fans with a great performance, this time in the Bavarian’s team 4-2 win over Heidenheim in Allianz Arena on the eleventh day of the 2023/2024 Bundesliga season to place his team as the leader of the tournament.

The English player, who was again crucial for his team’s victory, scored a double against the promoted team to give his team the lead in the first half of the game, and was pivotal to help his teammates to unlock the scoring in favor of the Bavarian side once their opponent achieved the equalizer during the second half of the clash.

Harry Kane needed just 14 minutes to score his first against Heidenheim, and then followed up with another before the break at the 44th minute of the game, proving himself as one of the best strikers in German and European football. With his double, the English striker reached his 20th and his 21st goal with Bayern in just 16 games played for the Bavarian side this season.

Kane could improve Lewandowski final register in Bundesliga

In this sense, the numbers reached by Kane allowed him to join Bayern's history again, improving numbers set by the FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, top scorer for the German institution on several occasions. Currently Harry Kane has an average of 1.5 goals per game, with 23 games remaining until the end of the German season, the 30-year-old striker, with that average, would reach 51 goals, an almost impossible amount, but if he scored a goal per game in the remainder of the season he would reach 40 goals, close to Lewandowski's 41, who could break with a double in two games, a situation that regarding his current scoring ratio seems viable for the team's former Tottenham striker.
