Scandal in Paris, tremendous surprise for the Newcastle additions

Dozens of English Newcastle United fans were attacked this morning in a bar in Paris by ultras of the French Paris Saint-Germain, in advance of this Tuesday's match between both teams, corresponding to the fifth day of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

The rioters, believed to be ultras of the Parisian group, broke into a bar in the French capital late at night to attack dozens of Magpies fans, throwing tables and chairs, as could be seen in numerous videos shared on social networks.

The RMC Sport and Daily Mail media reported these attacks before the match between Newcastle and PSG this Tuesday at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Initially, there is no information about possible injuries.

The French occupy second place in the group of death with 6 points, but a defeat could sink them to the last position in the standings, significantly complicating their presence in the round of 16. For their part, the English, bottom with 4 points, certified their elimination if they lost.

Newcastle vs PSG

The Geordies arrive in Paris, desperate to seek a point after finding themselves at the bottom of Group F. Two consecutive defeats against Borussia Dortmund mean that Eddie Howe's men need to salvage at least a point to keep their hopes alive of making it out of the group.
