Manchester United rejected a ridiculous offer from Fenerbahce to sign Anthony Martial.

Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag would be focused on improving his squad during the next few months, once he would have already identified the available players in his squad to make important sales in the short term and help the club to raise funds to reinvest in the market.

Confirmed, the massive injury faced by Martial that enraged Man United fans

The Dutchman, who already got rid of Jadon Sancho in the last few weeks after the Englishman’s exit to Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan transfer worth €4 million, would be ready to ax another player from his squad due to the lack of defensive commitment with his teammates as reported the English journal Daily Mail.

Following these sources, this would be the case of the French 28-year-old striker Anthony Martial, who would have been placed by the Dutchman in Manchester United’s selling list for the January transfer market, once the club decided not to extend the contract of the player, running until June.

United would be forced to keep the player until the end of the season

As reported Daily Mail in the last few hours, Fenerbahce would have made an offer for Martial, which Manchester United would have considered ridiculous given that they paid €60 million for the striker in 2015 and the Turkish side offered €8 million for his signing, a proposal that was immediately rejected by the Red Devils, who could be forced to keep the player until the end of the season.
