Phil Foden completed a sensational performance with Manchester City in their 1-3 win over Everton.

Manchester City’s coach Pep Guardiola showed his happiness after his team’s 1-3 win against Everton in Goodison Park on the nineteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, where Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden were pivotal to help the Citizen to return to the winning path in the competition after the bad results gotten in the previous four games.

The Catalan manager, who spoke to the media in the after game press conference, praised his players, and showed his happiness for Foden’s performance during the game, as the English international completed a sensational clash against the Toffees with one goal and three key passes during the game, which were only a landmark from the great numbers he delivered.

According to the sporting data company Opta Sport, Foden made 47 accurate passes during the game, developing an accuracy ratio of 94%, completing two shots on target and three successful dribbles in the clash that helped the Citizen to disarm the solid defensive system set by the manager Sean Dyche in Everton.

The Citizen provisionally rejoined the 4th position in the Premier League table

However, Foden also completed great defensive numbers against the Toffees, as he won five ground duels and completed 70 touches, which contributed to the team’s build up during the game, after which the Mancunian team could provisionally rejoin the fourth position in the Premier League table, awaiting for a favorable result from Tottenham in the Spurs’ visit to Brighton.
