Manchester United former player Cristiano Ronaldo surprised the media and the fans in the last few days when it was revealed his last shocking personal acquisition during the Christmas time, when he bought a huge property on the exclusive 'Billionaires' Island' in Dubai, which is known for being inhabited by the wealthy elite.
According to Bloomberg, the new Cristiano home would be a mega mansion, whose specifications are not yet known in detail, and it would be destined to be handed over to Ronaldo sometime in 2024. In addition it is speculated that the cost could rise to tens of millions of euros, considering the characteristic opulence of Jumeirah Island Bay, known as 'Billionaire Island'.
This island, opened in 2017, has earned its nickname due to the concentration of billionaires per square kilometer, surpassing any other location in the United Arab Emirates. The inhabitants include Saudis, Israelis, Indians and Russians, forming a gated community with mega mansions that offer luxurious services, such as private beach access, multi-car garages, spas and swimming pools with panoramic views of Dubai.
The Jumeirah Bay Island development, led by Palace Luxury Living, has been an ambitious project that has resulted in the construction of 10 mega mansions with a total estimated value of $545 million. Averaging £43 million per property, these exclusive residences contribute to the island's reputation as the epicenter of wealth in the region, and now will add the Cristiano Ronaldo mansion to their luxurious landscape.
