Manchester Untied could sign a top goalkeeper to replace Andre Onana in Ten Hag's team.

Manchester United’s goalkeeper Andre Onana could be living hard days in his career, as the INEOS’ board would be willing to find a replacement for the Cameroonian player, who has been subject of controversy since his arrival to the club in the summer transfer market window.

Confirmed, the massive injury faced by Martial that enraged Man United fans

The African keeper, who joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan for €50 million, has had a controversial first part of the season, having conceded 29 goals in 21 appearances for Ten Hag’s team, having added several poor performances on the pitch with big errors in Premier League and Champions League which were highly commented by the media and the fans.

For this reason, according to the English journal The Sun, the INEOS’ board at Manchester United would have put a new name on the table to replace the Cameroonian goalkeeper as the main option for the position in the Ten Hag’s team, and they would have put their eyes on a top keeper from La Liga to give the squad an elite keeper.

Onana will be monitored until the end of the season to make a final decision

The player in question would be the Slovenian 31-year-old player Jan Oblak from Atlético de Madrid, under contract with the Spanish club until 2028. According to the Sun sources, the Madrilean institution would be asking for €45 million to let him go and INEOS’ board could be willing to make the signing in case the level of Andre Onana in the team doesn’t improve in the next few months.
