Manchester United got an important  0-3 win against Everton in Goodison Park on the thirteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, in a game where the Red Devils scored in key moments to control the game and showed some traits of improvement in comparison to their last few games.

Ten Hag’s side got the lead from very early with a wonderful goal by Alejandro Garnacho, who surprised everyone with a bicycle goal at the 3rd minute that remembered the one scored by Wayne Rooney assisted by Luis Nani in the home game played against Manchester City in February 2011.

Andre Onana’s performance was crucial for the Red Devils, keeping the clean sheet in the game and saving his team from every shot of the Evertonians. Marcus Rashford extended the lead for the visitors at the 56th by converting a penalty conceded after a foul on Anthony Martial inside the box.

The Red Devils recovered their confidence

Precisely Martial scored the third goal for the Red Devils at the 75th with a great combination with Bruno Fernandes, where the French striker received the ball inside the box and finished the play in front of the rival goalkeeper. The final victory for Manchester United allows the Mancunian team to recover the confidence in their strikers, who scored again after a poor scoring streak, and showing the necessary solidity to keep on fighting for joining the European positions in the Premier League.
