The Dutchman will need to make changes in his lineup to face the Toffees

Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag surprised the media and the fans in the last few hours by announcing the injury update of Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund amid the team’s visit to Everton in Goodison Park on the thirteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season.

The Dutchman spoke to the media in the club’s press conference ahead of the game against the Toffees, where the name of the two players is highlighted among the crucial players to recover for the clash. In this sense, he revealed that Andre Onana could be available for the game, as he trained in the last few hours with the team and could play from the start against the Evertonians.

However, Erik Ten Hag did not announce good news on Rasmus Hojlund, who according to the coach would be still close to recovery. “He's training, he finished outside, making very good steps and we have to wait until tomorrow and we will make a final decision", revealed the Dutchman.

The players could be included in the squad to visit Everton

In this sense, from what it could be understood from the words said by the Manchester United’s coach, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund could be included in the squad to travel to Merseyside, with the goalkeeper ready to start the game and the striker apparently starting the game from the bench due to the urgencies faced by the Mancunian institution, who need a win against the Evertonians to keep on fighting for joining the Premier League top 4.
