The Cameroonian goalkeeper kept a clean sheet during United's visit to Goodison Park.

Manchester United's victory against Everton cannot be understood without Onana's contribution between the sticks. The United goalkeeper is beginning to establish himself step by step as an indisputable player at Old Trafford. His beginnings were not at all easy, with fierce criticism of his performances, but the Cameroonian put together one of the best performances of this season at Goodison Park.

After Garnacho's Chilean goal, the Red Devils put everything at the good level shown by Onana at Goodison Park. The Cameroonian avoided goals from Calvert-Lewin and McNeil. Against Copenhagen, his save from eleven meters still gives Erik Ten Hag's team hope for the round of 16. United have three consecutive clean sheets.

Onana was in a Champions League semi-final, last year he was in the Champions League final, he has the ability to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world. We are very happy with his signing for our club, Ten Hag was proud after the victory against Everton.

After the doubts at the beginning, the former Inter player seems to have made us forget the void left by De Gea at Old Trafford; He has proven it and he will do it. We have already seen in the games his great abilities, also his personality after making mistakes. He will recover and I am sure that he will also do so in the next games.

Manchester United and Onana, record of clean sheets

In fact, Onana is the best goalkeeper in this statistic, having kept a clean sheet in five games out of 13 played in the Premier League. Even more important was the record that the Red Devils achieved with their unbeaten performance at Goodison Park. Manchester United becomes the first team to record 500 clean sheets in Premier League history and they do so with Onana in goal.
