Manchester United fans got great news from the club’s legend Edwin van der Sar, who had been reported to be in intensive care after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage while he was on vacation in Split (Croatia) by the Dutch press, worrying all the football fans and receiving supporting messages from all over the world through the social media.
In this sense, in the last few weeks the United legend's agent, Rob Janse, had spoken on the KieftJansenEgmondGijp podcast from Dutchland to give a health status of the ex goalkeeper, assuring that things were going well, and he was in a state of stability which allowed the family be optimistic about a potential recovery.
After some days of suffering, in the last few hours Edwin van der Sar was released from the intensive care unit in the Dutch hospital where he was, and the Manchester United legend himself took his personal social media account to provide his health update, which immediately thrilled the fans.
In this way, and with a photo of himself sitting up in a hospital bed with his arm around his wife, Edwin van der Sar wanted to thank the fans and say his first words since he had the accident. “I’m happy to share that I’m no longer in the intensive care unit. However, I’m still in the hospital. I hope to go home next week and take the next step in my recovery!” Van der Sar wrote.
