The Dutchman would have already talked to the goalkeeper

Manchester United’s coach Ten Hag could initiate a new discussion with one of the players in his squad in the next few months as it was reported by the British media in the last few hours. The Dutchman could have got a disagreement with the senior squad goalkeeper Andre Onana, and some news about it would be ready to appear soon.

The discussion in question would be the potential participation of the Cameroonian goalkeeper in the next African Cup of Nations, to be played in January, which could force the player to miss up to ten games with Manchester United, an absence that Erik Ten Hag would be unwilling to accept.

In this sense, it would be worth remembering that Andre Onana himself would have shown his willingness to turn down the option of going with the Cameroonian national team in January to focus on his career at Manchester United due to his initial mistakes in the season, but once he seems to have recovered his best level on the pitch, he would have changed his mind toward the possibility of playing the African tournament.

A new controversy could blossom in the squad soon

In consequence, a new reason of controversy could be ready to blossom at Manchester United, as Ten Hag could discuss soon with his player to try to convince him to miss the tournament, while Onana could snub his coach to please his national football team, where he would be one of the stars of the next African Cup of Nations played in January.
