The Spurs got an important point from their visit to the Citizen

Manchester City was slammed by Postecoglou’s Tottenham in the Etihad Stadium on the fourteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, in a game where the Citizen could only achieve a point from a spectacular 3-3 draw against the North London team, and keep on falling from the top positions in the Premier League with their second draw in a row.

Heung Min Son opened the scoring for the visitors at the 6th minute before scoring an own goal that equalized the game for the Citizen, who got the lead in the game through a beautiful goal by Phil Foden at the 31st, which finished a beautiful combinative play of the locals in front of their public.

Giovanni Lo Celso’s precise finish led Tottenham to equalize the game at the 69th minute, and Tottenham’s attempts were more and more dangerous for the Citizen, who were on the verge of scoring their third goal, which would arrive at the 81st minute through Jack Grealish, which seemed to seal the victory for the Sky Blues.

Norwegian ended the game totally furious

However, Kulisevski struck in the 90th, sealing the definitive equalizer for the Spurs, who had a controversial ending against the Citizen, as the referee stopped a counterattack of the locals which had left Julian alone against the rival keeper to concede them a foul on Haaland. The action caused the anger of the Norwegian striker, who ended the game totally furious and insulting everyone while Manchester City got a poor point which leaves them third in the league with 30 points behind Arsenal (33) and Liverpool (31).
