Arsenal’s 26-year-old striker Gabriel Jesus was one of the best players for the Gunners in their 1-2 win against Sevilla in the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on the third day of the 2023/2024 Champions League’s group stage, and one of his actions on the pitch went viral among the Arsenal fans due to the incredible individual play he completed in it.
It happened at the 53rd minute of the game against the Andalusian team, when he picked the ball on the left wing of the Arsenal’s attack and faced the rival defense, dribbling out and cheating the rival defenders pretending to give a crossed pass and ending with a powerful right footed shot that went as a rocket to the rival net.
The Brazilian striker ran to the corner to celebrate his goal making his classical move of telephone calling that was imitated by his teammate Martin Odegaard, who pretended to answer his call. The goal was the second for Arsenal, who at that moment sealed their dominance in the game and put Sevilla on the ropes.
Gabriel Jesus, who joined Arsenal last season for €52 million from Manchester City, has completed this season eleven games with the Gunners, having scored four goal and given one assist with the North London team in all competitions, having already left some great clips that have gone viral among the Arsenal fans due to the spectacular actions he is able to create.
