The English defender will have his chance to prove his quality

England national team will face Ukraine in their game of the group C on the fifth day of the Euro 2024 Qualifiers celebrated in Wrocław Stadium in Poland with some news in the team coached by Gareth Southgate, who will place the Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the defense alongside Harry Maguire, who will return to start a game after being on the bench at Manchester United.

The English team will not count on Jack Grealish and Trent Alexander Arnold due to some physical discomfort that made the players withdrawn from the squad to return to their teams, while Bellingham and Henderson will be in the lineup again and Marcus Rashford will wait for a chance to join the game from the bench.

On their side, Ukraine will count on the Chelsea player Mijailo Mudryk placed on the left wing of their attack, and the striker will have the opportunity to show his quality after being an habitual substitute in Chelsea in the start of the 2023/2024 Premier League season under Mauricio Pochettino’s management.

England to consolidate their leadership

The English team will look to consolidate their leadership in group C, where they could reach the 15 points and put a significant distance from the Ukrainian team placed second with only 6 points and a game less than the Three Lions. The English national team will play with the following starting XI: Pickford; Walker, Guehi, Maguire, Chilwell; Henderson, Rice, Bellingham; Saka, Kane, Maddison. On the bench, the substitutes will be: Ramsdale, Johnstone, Trippier, Colwill, Tomori, Kalvin Phillips, Dunk, Eze, Rashford, Foden, Gallagher, C. Wilson.
