Bayern Munchen’s striker Harry Kane was one of the news in the England national team’s press conference ahead of their next friendly game against Australia to be played in the next few hours in Wembley and was surprised when he was asked about the performance of Tottenham being managed by Ange Postecoglou during this season.
In this sense, the English striker, who is widely known as a Tottenham fan despite not being part of the club since the summer when he signed for Bayern Munchen for €100 million, had some words to recognize the work done by Postecoglou as the manager of the Spurs, who are currently the leader of the Premier League with six victories in eight games played.
Kane, who has adapted quickly to life in Germany and already scored nine goals in 10 games with Bayern Munchen admitted that he will always have a 'soft spot' for his boyhood club and lauded Postecoglou's efforts to have the team on the top of the Premier League this season with a sensational start of the campaign.
The English striker confessed to being really impressed by his former club’s performance this season. “It's great to see. I think I've said before, the manager is doing great for them with the way they're playing,” he said. “The fans are right behind the team and it's definitely what they needed after the last few years”, said Kane.
