The Argentinian still hasn't arrived on American soil and fans are getting impatient.

The signing of the year has been made in this summer market with the arrival of Lionel Messi at MLS side Inter Miami. The Argentinian arrives for a million-dollar deal and commercial agreements that will make him the image of several prestigious brands in North America.

David Beckham is already preparing the ground to present the Argentinean star and fans are already looking for all the products that the team, which is in last place in the Eastern Conference, can offer in what will be another significant sum of money for the club.

Everyone is wondering why Lionel Messi has not been unveiled yet even though he has already made public his decision to go to Inter Miami. Many still think that he is listening to offers from other teams or that he is reconsidering joining FC Barcelona at the last minute.

For the reality is more complex. There are deadlines that must be met, and that would give the Argentine crack who was champion in Qatar 2022 to keep thinking if the decision he made was the right one or he wants to continue competing in an important way in European territory to win another UEFA Champions League.

Why isn't Messi coming to the United States?

One of the first reasons why Lionel Messi has not been unveiled with Inter Miami is that his contract has not expired with PSG. It ends on 30 June so he has to wait for that deadline. Then the Major League Soccer transfer window opens on July 5, so they have to wait for the right time to make a big party out of his arrival.
