Lionel Messi has made a lot of decisions in recent days. His career was in turmoil when he decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain and forget about the booing he had received in recent games for failing to win the UEFA Champions League, despite the club's million-dollar signings.
Then, having declined Saudi Arabia's offer to join any of their teams, who were thrilled to have the South American star and, moreover, were already beginning to visualise a new confrontation with his old footballing nemesis who had arrived a year earlier: Cristiano Ronaldo.
But in the end, it was Inter Miami who convinced him to come to a verbal agreement. His contract would be a historic one for MLS, plus it would bring him a juicy salary of almost 20 million dollars a year and secured commercial contracts for him to be the face of some products in the future.
Now, after so much movement in his life, the Argentine has yet to sign his deal on American soil. So it looks like he is going to make a request to the David Beckham-owned side that could upset fans who are already desperate to see him in their stadium.
After the friendly match against Australia on Indonesian soil, Lionel Messi made a statement that surprised everyone: 'I feel like going on holiday'. This would further delay the World Cup winner's introduction to Inter Miami, who would be counting on him for the second half of the North American League season.
