Anyone who thought Lionel Messi wasn't causing a stir on his arrival in Major League Soccer was sorely mistaken. The Argentinian has signed for David Beckham-owned Inter Miami and is about to be officially unveiled.
Messi has taken a well-deserved holiday after the whole situation he has been through with his departure from PSG, the anger of the Parisian fans and the refusal to go to Saudi Arabia to compete against Cristiano Ronaldo.
In addition to the controversy he had when he did not want to return to FC Barcelona for free. The board and the fans have taken the South American star's decision as a betrayal and prefer that he never returns to Catalan territory so as not to open wounds.
But the show is already guaranteed with Messi in MLS. And scalpers are starting to take advantage of the situation with the cost of tickets. Even going so far as to cost more than those of singer Taylor Swift, which has been a global event without comparison.
On US resale portals a ticket to see Lionel Messi's debut at Inter Miami is already priced at $2600. While a ticket for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour only goes for $25. So that price could go up as the date to see the world champion in Qatar 2022 approaches.
