FC Barcelona could be one of the most active clubs during the next January transfer market window, as the Catalan team would be decided to redirect their season and jumping to the leadership of the Spanish league, a goal which would require a significative investment from the institution.
In this sense, the Catalan team would have already started to present their new signings, with the Brazilian 18-year-old striker Vitor Roque heading the list of players arriving to the club, as the former Athletico Paranaense star was already introduced to the media following his arrival to Barcelona in the last few days.
However, FC Barcelona would be willing to have a bigger impact in the squad managed by Xavi Hernandez, and they would be ready to offer his coach another top Brazilian player arriving from Aston Villa, one of the most competitive teams in the Premier League this season.
According to the Catalan sporting Journal Sport, FC Barcelona would have put their eyes on the Brazilian 25-year-old midfielder Douglas Luiz, as their sporting director Deco would have identified him as the right option to improve the team’s midfield and could start a negotiation for his compatriot soon. Following these sources, the Catalan team would be willing to pay €60 million for the player, who could be seduced by the project headed by Xavi and could make a sensational arrival to Barcelona.
