Manchester United’s new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe would have receive great news in the last few days, as a potential new destination would have blossomed among the interested clubs to sign the 28-year-old striker Anthony Martial, who wouldn’t be in the club nor in Erik Ten Hag's plans for the future of the Mancunian institution.
In this sense, Manchester United could finally receive a great help to get rid of the player in the January transfer market window, since the club wouldn’t have intention to extend the contract of the French striker but they would be reluctant to lose him for free in June when the player becomes a free agent in the market after his end of contract with the club.
In this respect, according to the Turkish outlet Takvim, Fenerbahce would be willing to use their great relationship with Manchester United to get advantage in the negotiations for Anthony Martial in the coming days after having sent to the Red Devils an €8 million-offer for the transfer of the French striker, who would be really admired by the coaching staff of the Turkish club.
'The yellow and dark blue team wants to add Martial to their squad with a low transfer fee, using the good relations established with the English giant,' Takvim wrote. The clubs have exchanged players in the past, with United recently selling Fred to the Turkish Cup winners in the summer, while the Red Devils acquired goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from the Yellow Canaries that same window, and Fenerbahce would be now hoping to seal a 'low fee' for Martial noting that his contract with United is set to expire in the summer.
