Erik Ten Hag would be happy to count on an important player in the next few games with United.

Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag received great news in the last few hours, as one of the top players in his squad returned to the training pitch with his teammates and would be close to make a sensational return to the squad in the next few games, where he could be involved in the list offered by the manager to compete in the Premier League.

The player in question is the English playmaker Mason Mount, who was seen on the Carrington’s training ground in the last few hours completing a personalized training session, from what it could be understood that the player could be in the last stages of his recovery from the injury suffered last November 24, that have kept him on the sidelines for more than 30 days.

Mount, who has missed 15 games with Manchester United this season due to injuries, would have then a new opportunity to show his talent at the club after completing a sensational move in the summer from Chelsea to the Mancunian institution for €64 million, not having yet responded to the expectations created at his arrival.

He has played only 12 games with United this season

In this respect, it would be worth mentioning that Mount has only played 12 games with Manchester United this season, having delivered one assist with the team despite having been given the iconic club’s number seven shirt which he would be trying to honor in the second part of the season once he completes his recovery and plays again with the team.
