Liverpool won’t count with one of their players and main options to cover the absence of Mohamed Salah due to his participation with the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations during the next few weeks, as the Reds would have communicated to a top wonderkid aiming to cover the Salah’s role to be close to exit from the club in the January transfer market window.

The player in question is the Portuguese 21-year-old playmaker Fabio Carvalho, who was sent on a loan transfer to RB Leipzig, where the Reds considered he could improve and continue his formation in elite football. However, the player would have followed the steps expected in the German club, where he has lacked opportunities with really few minutes of play.

Following his little participation with the German side, Liverpool decided to bring the player back in the last few days, and despite the player was expected to cover the Salah’s role in the team, he would finally have a really different destination, as the Reds would have already found the club to sent him in a new loan transfer until the end of this season.

Liverpool already gave the green light for the player to undergo medical tests

According to the Italian journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Fabio Carvalho would have received the green light from Liverpool to travel and undergo medical tests at Hull City, currently placed at the seventh position with 39 points from 26 days of competition. Following these sources, the player will play for the Tigers until June with no buy option included in the deal.
