Mauricio Pochettino could lose one of Chelsea's top gems in the January transfer window.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino could have soon a departure in his squad as one of his players at the West London team would be totally convinced to exit from the institution in the January transfer market window once he has played really few minutes under the management of the Argentine coach.

The player in question is the Dutch full back Ian Maatsen, who according to the English journalist Patrick Berger from Sky would have informed Chelsea of his wish to leave the club during the next few weeks to have more minutes on the pitch outside Pochettino's management.

Following these sources, the player would have already chosen his next destination, as he would have already agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund and would have expressed to Chelsea his intention to join the German side, as both clubs would negotiate for the player in the next few weeks.

Chelsea already set a condition for the player’s departure

In this sense, Chelsea would have already set a main condition to let the player join his preferred destination, as the Blues would have communicated the player their willingness to loan him with an obligation to buy included in the deal, which would be negotiated with Borussia Dortmund soon.
