Chelsea’s manager Mauricio Pochettino received bad news in the last few hours as one of the crucial pieces in his squad suffered a sudden injury that could keep the player on the sidelines for several games, including the Carabao Cup final where the Blues will face Liverpool in Wembley.
The news would have been received as a massive blow for Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in the team, as the manager would be trying to compose a competitive lineup for the next few games, and he would be constantly having important absences in the squad.
In this sense, the Argentine coach will be forced to make significant changes in the team facing the next few games starting by Chelsea's visit to Selhurst Park to play against Crystal Palace in the next few hours.
The injured player in question would be the French center back Benoit Badiashile, who will be on the sidelines due to a groin injury suffered last week, leading him to be ruled out for up to a month and miss the Carabao Cup Final against Liverpool, being a massive absence for Pochettino to compete against the Reds for his fist title as a Chelsea manager.
