English winger Jadon Sancho finally joined Borussia Dortmund in the last few hours after several weeks of negotiation between the German side and Manchester United, where the Red Devils would have finally lost money to get rid of one of the players non considered for being in the club’s senior squad by their manager Erik Ten Hag.
In this sense, it would be worth remembering that the English player returned to his former club on a six-month loan transfer until June, which would leave Manchester United a package worth €4 million with no buy option included in the transaction, which despite being a short solution for the Red Devils, will be a total lost for the institution in financial terms.
At his arrival, Jadon Sancho was finally unveiled with his new club and was given his new shirt at Borussia Dortmund, where he will wear the number 10 and will be considered as the top star of the team during the six months he will be there to prove his quality and versatility in elite football.
In this respect, it could be mentioned that Jadon Sancho had worn the number 7 shirt in his previous stage at Borussia Dortmund from 2017 to 2021, when he precisely leave the club to sign for Manchester United for €85 million, a step which would have worked as well as expected for the player and the Red Devils.
