Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp surprised the media and the fans during the last press conference of the club ahead of the Reds’ FA Cup 5th Round home game against Southampton in Anfield to be played in the next few hours.
Liverpool go for the quadruple, Klopp’s team won Chelsea in Carabao Cup Final
Following the conquest of the Carabao Cup title, the manager has returned to work and has been asked by the media about the injury players in his squad, where Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Darwin Nunez and Wataru Endo have been recently monitored to see whether they are able to play against Southampton.
In this sense, the German coach didn’t hesitate on providing a shocking injury update on the fitness of Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez, who didn’t play for the Reds in the Carabao Cup Final against Chelsea, as he has also spoken on Wataru Endo, who got injured during the clash against the Blues.
The manager spoke on Salah, Darwin and Szoboszlai, with whom he added Wataru Endo, who was seen walking on crutches after the final. “Darwin, Mo, Dom, we have to see what they can do today in training. Wataru Endo got a proper knock as well, we have to see”, said Klopp.
