Manchester City’s playmaker Kevin De Bruyne went under the spotlight in the last few hours as one of the main targets for Saudi football, as the player is completing his last year of contract with the Citizen, running until 2025, and the Saudi Public Investment Fund would have put their eyes on him to arrive to the Saudi Pro League in the next summer.
According to the journalist Rudy Galetti, there would be a concrete Saudi club looking forward to counting on the Belgian 32-year-old playmaker, who could soon receive a lucrative proposal from his suitors, ready to pay whatever it is required to have him in their team.
The Saudi club in question would be the First Division club Al-Qadsiah, who are the leaders of the tournament and would be ready to complete their promotion to the Saudi Pro League next season, having De Bruyne as their main ambition in case of rejoining the maximum category in Saudi football.
De Bruyne, who has completed 358 appearances with Manchester City since his arrival to the club in 2015, would have already contacted by a delegation of the Saudi Public Investment Fund according to the information given by Rudy Galetti, and he could be negotiated next summer, when he would be again tempted by Saudi football to join their league.
