Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp faces a really important game for the Reds in Anfield against Luton Town on the twenty-sixth day of the Premier League season, which will be played in the midweek to allow Merseyside to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
Liverpool’s Klopp linked to replace Tuchel at Bayern, this is what his agent said
For the game against Luton, Klopp faces a new epidemic of injuries in his squad, as he presented a totally changed lineup against the Hatters following the important absences suffered in the last few days.
Two of these absences were the ones of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, who will have some time to rest against the Hatters to try to be recovered on time to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final, which at the moment is just an uncertain idea.
In this sense, Klopp added the Salah and Darwin’s absences to the ones of Alisson, Szoboszlai, Diogo Jota (knee), Curtis Jones (ankle), Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee), Thiago (hamstring), Joel Matip (ACL), Stefan Bajcetic (growing pains) and Ben Doak (MCL).
Shocking, Portugal reports revealed the injury update of Liverpool’s Diogo Jota
The German coach set a lineup with Kelleher as the team’s keeper, Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk and Gomez in the defense, Elliott, Endo and Mac Allister in the midfield and Gravenberch, Gakpo and Luis Diaz in the forward line. Klopp included Adrian, Konate, Tsimikas, and Robertson in the squad to face the Hatters, where will also be the academy players Clark, Gordon, McConnell, Danns and Nyoni.
