The player in question would be the German versatile midfielder Joshua Kimmich, currently under conflict with Bayern Munich and considered one of the best players in Europe for the midfield and the defense, which could greatly help Klopp in the development of the squad to win trophies in the next few years.

According to the English journal The Mirror, Barnes made clear that he feels Kimmich would be a stellar addition to the current crop of midfielders on the red half of Merseyside, urging him to beat Manchester City in the race for the player to grant Liverpool’s hegemony in the future of English football.

Following these sources, the Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel would be demanding a minimum of €60 million to part ways with Kimmich, which could grant the arrival of a top player to Liverpool ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, a top war between top clubs that could take place in the summer transfer market window.
