The British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe would have recently received bad news as the leader of the football operations at Manchester United, since one of the main players though to be leading the sales to be made in the next few months could have been slowed down as a top desired among the top European clubs, which could affect seriously United’s plans in the market.
The four massive signings included in Jim Ratcliffe’s plan for Manchester United
The player in question is the Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay, who was heading the transferable players’ list set by Erik Ten Hag in the summer, and was about to leave Manchester United following the interest of West Ham and Bayern Munich in signing him for their midfield.
However, the Hammers finally signed the Mexican midfielder Edson Alvarez from Ajax at the Premier League transfer market deadline, which closed the options of leaving United for McTominay, while Bayern never agreed terms with Manchester United to seal a deal for the Scottish player.

In this sense, the doors at the German club would continue closed for McTominay regarding the last words given by Bayern’s sporting director Cristoph Freund in a press conference at the club, where he revealed that the German side would be no longer prioritizing midfield additions, which would retire McTominay from the options of joining a big European club in the next few months.
