Mikel Arteta prepares a €44 million-rated signing to shield Arsenal in the race for the title

According to the English football site TeamTalk, Mikel Arteta would have urged Arsenal to pay the €44 million release clause of the player, whose signing could be completed in the summer as a part of Arteta's key measures to take his team to a super elite level of football again.
