Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta received great news in the last few hours as the Spanish manager will be able to count on two important players in his squad for the second part of the season, where the Gunners are facing the Champions League and the Premier League as the only competitions where they will have still options to lift a trophy.
The Gunners, who have been strongly criticized in the last few hours after having suffered a 0-2 defeat in the FA Cup against Liverpool and been dumped out of the competition, have been urged by the fans to improve their squad with new elite players who can fix the problems existing in Arteta’s team.
However, the Spanish manager would have other plans in mind for the next few weeks, as he could finally opt for working with the players he has in his squad plus the two new additions in the team after recovering from important long term injuries, Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey.
The addition of the players could solve the defensive problems and the lack of effectiveness in offensive transitions suffered by the North London team in the last few games, given the versatility that Timber and Partey could offer to the manager both in defensive and offensive tasks.
