The Dutchman, who already has the absence of Rasmus Hojlund to face the Citizen, has been testing different possibilities to replace the Danish striker in the team, as none of them has really worked out until the moment.
In addition, the game against Nottingham Forest took the worst part of the Dutch manager, who complained in the after game press conference due to the ‘constant attack’ the local players would have delivered against one of the Manchester United stars, who would have gotten injured during the game.
According to the Dutchman, the Forest players targeted the star during the game, causing him an injury which could cause his absence for the game against Manchester City. “I'm not going to say what he has, but it's a serious injury. They criticize him on social media, and it's pathetic and can't be”, said Ten Hag.
