Manchester United’s new minority stakeholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe would have massive plans for the Red Devils according to the Mancunian journal Manchester Evening Standard, that reported in the last few hours the intentions of the British billionaire for the next summer transfer market.
Man United can’t wait, Ten Hag took this controversial decision on £86m star
The British businessman, who recently completed his purchase of the 25% stake of Manchester United for £1.2 billion, would be now the main leader of the sporting area in the club as a part of the agreement he got with the Glazers in the last few months, and he would have already started to develop his plans for the club.
In the first place, he already had the necessary talks with Erik Ten Hag to understand from the manager the main needs in the squad, and after talking with the men inside INEOS’ board, he would have already designed the lines of his summer transfer market master plan.
This plan would include massive sales in the transfer window to raise money in order to have the necessary financial wealth for reinvesting in the market without breaching the FIFA Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Man United to make shocking move for Luton Town playmaker to replace Casemiro
This plan would include the sales of important players in United’s squad such as Casemiro, Antony, Raphael Varane or the loanees Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek and Hannibal Mejbri who are expected to be sold at the end of their loans. In addition, the sale of these players is expected to beat the poor selling record currently existing in the club, given that only five players at United have left for a fee of £25 million or above in the last few years ( Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, Angel Di Maria, David Beckham and Daniel James).
