The Englishman was crucial for the Whites, as he scored a sensational double with goals in the 34th and the 54th to extend the lead given to the Madrilean team by an initial goal by Vinizius Jr in the 6th minute of the clash.

However, his wonderful performance in Bernabeu couldn’t be completed as he was forced to leave the game in the 57th minute, when he was replaced by Brahim Diaz and left the field visibly worried.

What happened to Bellingham?

The Englishman suffered a sprained ankle during the clash against Girona as Real Madrid itself reported in the last few hours through an official statement, and he is expected to be sidelined until early March, which would lead him to miss up to six games, including the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Champions League against RB Leipzig in Germany.
