Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag spoke out on the meetings he has had with INEOS and the new minority stakeholder of the club, the British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, known for being one of the richest men in the world and ready to make an impact in the club as a new chief of the sporting direction area in the Mancunian institution.
Ten Hag, asked for his relationship with Ratcliffe and INEOS in the club’s last press conference ahead of the team’s next game against Wigan in the third round of the FA Cup, was clear about the feelings he had after talking with the INEOS members in the club, which the Dutchman labeled as “very positive”.
In this sense, Ten Hag revealed that their personalities and ideas could strongly affect the process he wants to set at the club in a great and real positive way. “I'm very positive about that, I am sure it will be beneficial to Manchester United", admitted the Dutch manager.
In this respect, one of the main first decisions made by the new board at the club would be the exit of Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund in the next few days, which would be a deal almost sealed, with both clubs working on reaching an agreement about the prices to be set at the deal loaning the player for the next sixth months in the German side.
