Ten Hag's job could be in danger as he could be sacked as a Manchester United manager in the summer.

Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag would have received bad news in the last few hours, as the negotiations between the Red Devils and Borussia Dortmund for the Jadon Sancho’s arrival to his former club on a loan transfer would have revealed a concrete detail in the deal indicating that the Dutchman could be living his last months as the United manager.

In this sense, according to the Italian journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the arrival of Sancho to Dortmund would be a done deal, as he would have already confirmed the sealing of the deal between both clubs, having revealed the price of the transfer and the details of the negotiation.

As confirmed by Romano, Manchester United would have decided to send Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan transfer ending next June, when the player would be forced to return to the Red Devils’ squad after any buy option wasn’t included in the deal by the Mancunian institution.

Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United could be uncertain

In this respect, and following Romano sources, Manchester United’s new INEOS board would have rejected the possibility to include a buy option to avoid giving up on his career at Manchester United, from what it could be interpreted that Ten Hag, the main guilty of the Sancho’s lack of minutes at United, could have an uncertain future at the club, which wouldn’t be secured at June when Sancho makes his potential return to the institution.
