Manchester United’s new sporting direction headed by INEOS and the Glazers would have already taken an important decision on one of the next signings to arrive to Old Trafford, as they have been reported to have given the green light for the arrival of a new gem to the club to strengthen the Erik Ten Hag’s squad.
The player in question would be a 19-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder considered the new Moises Caicedo by the Red Devils’ board, who would be willing to make a great effort to secure the player’s arrival in the January transfer window to avoid miss him out as they already did with the Chelsea’s midfielder when he was playing for Brighton.
According to the Direct TV Broadcaster Christian Martin, the player tracked by United is the Ecuadorian defensive midfielder Oscar Zambrano from LDU, who would have a release clause of €3 million to leave his current team, where he won the Sudamericana title this season.
Zambrano, who has been revealed as one of the top gems in Ecuadorian football in this campaign, has played 51 games with his side in the season, three of them in the Libertadores U20, and nine in Sudamericana and has already made his senior debut with LDU and the Ecuadorian national team.
