Arsenal suffered a horrible 0-2 defeat against West Ham in the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta would be living horrible days in the season, as the Spanish coach faced a severe 0-2 defeat against West Ham in the Emirates Stadium, which avoided the Gunners to be the leader of the Premier League for one more week, leaving their place to Liverpool, the new leader of the competition.

The Gunners, who only were able to achieve a draw in their visit to Anfield on the eighteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, weren’t able to win either against West Ham, and they dropped points against the Hammers, being dropped from the first position of the English league.

The situation wouldn’t be although something new for the fans of the Gunners, who would be living the repetition of a nightmare suffered during last season. In this sense, it would be worth remembering that the North London team was the leader of the Premier League last season until the game they drawed against Liverpool in Anfield, after which nothing was the same again during the campaign.

The Gunner’s worst memory could be repeated this season

Following their draw in Anfield against the Reds, the North London team dropped points against West Ham, after which they irremediably fell in the race for the title, leaving the league’s leadership to Guardiola’s Manchester City, who finally conquered the title instead of Arteta’s side, a nightmare that now, could be repeated if the Gunners don’t react soon to their bad streak of results.
