Pep Guardiola gave important minutes to a crucial player for his Manchester City squad.

Manchester City’s coach Pep Guardiola could finally give some minutes to one of the most important players in his squad, who have returned to have minutes with the Mancunian team after having covered from a long term ACL injury that kept him on the sidelines for the last four months of competition.

The player in question is Kevin De Bruyne, who could finally played again in front of the public of the Etihad Stadium after recovering from the injury suffered last August in Manchester City’s away league game against Burnley in Turf Moor, where he had to be replaced by Mateo Kovacic at the 23rd minute of the game.

During these last four months on the sidelines, De Bruyne has lost the possibility to play the UEFA Super Cup, and some of the most important games in the league for the Citizen, but despite that the Belgian 32-year-old player could finally made a sensational return to the pitch in the City’s home game against Huddersfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup.

Guardiola counted again on one of his most iconic players in the squad

It happened in the 56 minute, when Pep Guardiola finally decided to give entry to the player to replace Julian Alvarez, the player who has covered his absence in the team during his months of absence. The player’s entry in the game was massively celebrated by the public of the Etihad Stadium who sang the Belgian superstar’s chant for several minutes to hail the player in his return.
