Arsenal’s lack of effectiveness to score on target was horribly manifested during the last game of the Gunners, where they were 0-2 defeated by West Ham in the Emirates Stadium on the twentieth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, after which the North London team was dropped from the top of the table in favor of Liverpool.
In this respect, the fans started to complained about the poor effectiveness shown against the Hammers, and they claimed for the signing of a top striker through the social media, which could be responded in the next few weeks with the arrival of a player for the position who can be able to score the necessary goals for the Arteta’s side.
Precisely the Spanish manager would have already set a wishlist with up to seven strikers according to the English journal Daily Mail, who stated the profile searched by the Gunners for this potential arrival to the Emirates Stadium during the next January transfer market window. The list would be headed by the Nigerian strikers Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen, Ivan Toney from Brentford, and Dominik Solanke from Bournemouth, but some young players could be also being tracked by the Londoners.
Following these sources, Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and Evan Ferguson from Brighton would head the youngest options in the list, as the signing of the Slovenian scorer seems more plausible than the one of the Irish striker given the steep price required by Brighton for their wonderkid.
