Tommy Conway surprised West Ham scoring the equalizing goal for Bristol City against West Ham in FA Cup.

West Ham got surprised by Bristol City in the third round of the FA Cup after the 1-1 achieved against the Championship team, who equalized the game against the Hammers in the second half after Moyes' side wasn’t able to impose their quality during the clash celebrated in the London Stadium.

The Hammers opened the scoring in the 4th minute of the game with a brilliant combination between Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen, where the Brazilian playmaker, sided on the left wing of the midfield, sent a long ball through with his right foot on the run of his teammate, who beated the Bristol’s keeper with a simple and effective finish.

However, despite having gotten the lead in the game very early, the locals weren’t able to seal their dominance on the pitch, and Bristol City surprised them with quick and effective counter attacks that put the Hammers on the ropes and ended in the worst way for the interest of David Moyes’ side when their rivals achieved the equalizing goal in the game.

West Ham will need the replay to advance to the next round

It happened in the 61st minute of the clash, when the Robins leveled the scoring with a goal scored by Tommy Conway. The team coached by Liam Manning made things really difficult for West Ham, who despite trying to recover the lead of the game until the end, only got the final 1-1 and they will need to face their rivals again in a replay to be celebrated in the incoming days to decide the team advancing to the next round of the competition.
