The United player was overtaken by Brighton's Paraguayan and the fans don't like it.

One of the most important players for Manchester United's future is Alejandro Garnacho. The attacking midfielder, soon to be called up to the Argentina national team, is one of the best prospects for a future star in the Premier League and for European football in general.

However, although the 18-year-old South American player is already being taken into account by Erik ten Hag, he still has no arguments to beat other teammates like Jadon Sancho or Antony, who have just arrived for this season and who have been instrumental in the Red Devils' return to the UEFA Champions League.

Garnacho has five goals and five assists all season, and has already attracted the attention of other teams looking to sign him. However, the Old Trafford outfit have shielded him well and will not accept less money than his projected future. Even Real Madrid already have him in their transfer pipeline, which means a very interesting destination for the Madrid-born Spaniard.

But when you look at the stats, Garnacho has been overtaken by another teenage talent who is on the English League sensation team. Julio Enciso is a 19-year-old Paraguayan player who is already being scouted by top clubs such as Juventus and Manchester City. His explosion on the pitch has spiced up his performances and he will soon be leading Brighton & Hove Albion.

Enciso and Garnacho, head to head

The major stats pages have put Julio Enciso with more dribbles than Alejandro Garnacho. His average number of moves is 3.44 in games compared to 2.09 for the Argentine, who will undoubtedly have to have more continuity and fight for a starting place next year, where he could have more competition if United can sign Neymar, as the fans so desperately want.
