Liverpool want a real star signing for next season in the Premier League. Jürgen Klopp's side are looking to take centre stage and get back to the top after finishing fourth in the table.

Not only has Klopp's project been criticised by the fans, but also by the press itself, as well as the difference in the squad with other teams such as Manchester City and Arsenal, who have finished in second place. The latter being a failure for having let the title slip away in a surprising way.

As a result, they are already looking for a world-class talent from Real Madrid. A player who has played a lot of minutes with the Spanish side and who is projected as the heir to the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are already veterans in Carlo Ancelotti's squad.

Aurélien Tchouaméni is in Liverpool's sights, and the offer they put on the table was extraordinary. However, Ancelotti is holding up the signing and has left Klopp's coaching staff and the entire Reds board perplexed.

The offer Ancelotti rejected for Tchouaméni

According to Defensa Central, Liverpool have reportedly offered Real Madrid 60 million euros for Aurelién Tchouaméni, but they have rejected it outright. They will have to resign themselves to Alexis Mac Caliister, who has been transferred from Brighton & Hove Albion with a spectacular season.
