The Turkish player hasn’t played for Manchester United yet

Manchester United’s goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was under the spotlight in the last few hours after it was known that the first option for the coach Erik Ten Hag, the Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, suffered an injury which could force him to not miss the next few games with the Red Devils.

In this sense, the potential absence of the Cameroonian goalkeeper could make the Dutchman to give entry to Bayindir to cover his teammate’s absence in the next few games, and Manchester United fans would have started to speculate with the potential change in the team and they have spoken about the Turkish player’s quality in the last few hours.

In this respect, the former AS Rome top striker Vincenzo Montella, who currently coaches Bayindir at the Turkish national team, has publicly backed the former Fenerbahce goalkeeper, praising him and claiming that the keeper deserves an opportunity to show his quality.

Bayindir could make his debut in the away game against Everton

The Italian manager has analyzed the performance given by Bayindir during the international break, revealing that the player would be ready to make his debut with Manchester United. “He did very well in our games against Germany and Wales. He is a young goalkeeper and I expect and hope that he can get great experience at Manchester United. I hope he can play first-team football which will give him even more experience and then he'll be even better when he comes back to us”, explained Montella
