Liverpool could receive bad news in the last few hours, as their Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister could face a ban from the FA in the next few days for an unexpected reason, situation that would have worried the Reds and their coach as they could be hit again by the English football organism in the next few games.
According to the English channel Sky Sports, Alexis Mac Allister could be sanctioned by the FA after affirming that Tottenham would have played with twelve players against Liverpool through his personal Instagram account, where he replied a post by the Tottenham player “Cuti” Romero celebrating his team’s win against the Reds.
"This team has great spirit, great heart, always like this, all together @spursofficial," Tottenham defender Cristian Romero wrote on Instagram after the game alongside a photo showing him celebrating with the home fans following the winning goal; to what Mac Allister, who was replaced after 80 minutes of the game by Ryan Gravenberch, replied: "Normal when you have 12 men."
Romero responded quickly, though. "Go cry at home," he wrote back to his Argentina team-mate. In this sense, Liverpool's Argentine reply to his compatriot could have been detected by the FA in the last few hours, and the organism could try to respond to the player’s attitude and words towards the referees of the game considering a disrespectful action by Mac Allister, who later deleted the comment.
