Chelsea are totally immersed in the summer transfer market window with the main goal of improving the squad for the next season, while they try to sell the transferable players who haven’t found any destination yet. That is the case of Romelu Lukaku, who arrived at the club in 2021 in exchange of €100 million but has barely performed as expected with the Blues.
The Chelsea coach, Mauricio Pochettino has been reported not to count on Lukaku for the next campaign, and the club is looking for options to sell him without getting his departure completed yet. Lukaku has already rejected an offer from Al Hilal from Saudi Pro League because he wants to continue his career and play for Inter, where he played on loan last season.
However, Inter’s offers for the player haven’t convinced Chelsea, who have started talks with Juventus, whose player Dusan Vlahovic is targeted by the Blues. In this sense, Juventus could have set some conditions to complete a potential Lukaku signing, which wouldn’t have been well received by Chelsea, according to the Italian press.
Following the Italian press sources, Juventus could be ready to make a €37.5 million plus €2.5m add-ons bid for Lukaku, and they would set this proposal as valid only if they're able to sell Dusan Vlahovic before August. Meanwhile, the main condition that could worry Chelsea is that Juventus wouldn’t be interested in including Vlahovic in the deal, which could have made Chelsea to desist in signing the player, who could become a new PSG player soon.
