The Cameroonian goalkeeper made an incredible save to seal the United’s victory

Manchester United’s Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana was one of the best players on the pitch for the Red Devils in their 0-3 win against Everton in Goodison Park on the thirteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, a game where the visitors’s offensive players were crucial once their goal was totally safe due to their goalkeeper’s great performance.

In this sense, Andre Onana’s role in the game was really important to keep a clean sheet in Merseyside and left the rival without options to reduce the distances in the scoring, given that the United’s strikers were unexpectedly effective against the Toffees, with Garnacho, Rashford and Anthony Martial returning to the scoring path.

In this respect, as Garnacho scored an iconic goal in the club’s history, compared to the one scored by Wayne Rooney against Manchester City in February 2011, Andre Onana was crucial to save his team with a wonderful save in the second half that surprised the media and the fans, really amazed by the goalkeeper’s performance.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper was praised by the fans

The best save of the Cameroonian player at the game was undoubtedly the one made at the 57th minute when Onana flew to the crossbar to save a right footed shot from outside the box by Idrissa Gueye, an action which was recognized by the fans as the best of their player through the social media, as they highly praised the Cameroonian goalkeeper for it.
