The Tottenham’s coach has completed a stunning start of the season

Tottenham’s coach Ange Postecoglou surprised the media and the fans in the last few hours with a new victory with the Spurs in their game against Fulham in Tottenham Stadium in North London on the ninth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, becoming the new leader of the league with 23 points.

According to the sporting data company Opta Sports, Ange Postecoglou became the first manager in Premier League history to claim 23 points from his first nine games in charge in the competition, overtaking other great managers in the league such as Guus Hiddink, who won 22 points with Chelsea in the 2008/09 season, and Mike Walker, who reached the 22 points with Norwich City in the 1992/1993 campaign.

However, this was not the only record for the Tottenham’s Australian-Greek manager, as he also became the first boss to win the Premier League Manager of the Month award twice in his first two months in the job, completing a great performance as a coach for the Spurs, where he arrived from Celtic Glasgow in the summer replacing Antonio Conte in the charge.
