In this sense, according to the English journalist Duncan Castles, sports journalist for The Sunday Times, both teams would have already started to explore the necessary financial and sporting parameters to secure the viability to sign Mbappe as a free agent next summer, once the player hasn’t signed his renewal with PSG yet.

However, following these sources, Mbappe would already have a preferred destination in case to join the Premier League next season, which could grant a great competition with Erling Haaland, as the French star, with 41 goals from 43 games last season, seems one of the few players in the world able to emulate the Norwegian striker’s 52 goals from 53 goals last season.

The player's preferences could be crucial

In this respect, according to the information given by Duncan Castles, the French player would prefer to sign for Liverpool instead of Arsenal, as the 24-year-old superstar would be a great admirer of the Jürgen Klopp’s team since several years ago, and would be happy to join them in case of taking a new challenge in the Premier League next season.
